What's your shooting style?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My wedding photography style revolves around capturing the natural, candid moments of your special day. I aim to create an atmosphere where you feel like you're hanging out with a mate, sharing laughs, and thoroughly enjoying yourselves. I firmly believe that the best photographs emerge when people are relaxed and comfortable. That's why I put effort into ensuring my clients feel at ease throughout the entire wedding process.

On the big day itself, I'll be there to capture all those little moments that make your day extraordinary. From the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the emotional first dance, and everything in between. My primary goal is to encapsulate the essence of your love and the joy of the day, all the while ensuring you and your guests feel comfortable.

Now, let's talk about my dad jokes! I thoroughly enjoy making people laugh, and I believe humour is a fantastic way to break the ice and create a relaxed atmosphere. I'm known for my cheesy dad jokes and puns, which might not suit everyone, but they consistently bring smiles to people's faces! I've found that when people are laughing and having a good time, it sets the stage for a more relaxed atmosphere and leads to better photos.

Ultimately, selecting a wedding photographer is about finding someone you're comfortable with. Since you'll be spending a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, it's crucial to choose someone you trust and genuinely enjoy being around. I'm confident that my easy-going nature, fun-loving personality, and knack for lame dad jokes will make me the perfect fit for your big day!

Do you place a hold of our wedding day?

Unfortunately we do not put a wedding date on hold without a deposit, $1,000 to lock in your big day and the balance closer to your wedding day.

We've never done photos before and don't know how to pose. Help?

Many of our clients haven't had professional photoshoots or aren't familiar with posing techniques. That's completely normal. For me, it's not about rigid posing; instead, I offer gentle guidance. The true enchantment lies in the genuine affection you share. My role is simply to capture those authentic moments. I often provide prompts to assist and the enthusiasm of your bridal party adds to the vibrant ambiance of your wedding. By the way, none of the married couples featured on my website are professional models!

What if it rains during the day?

One of the biggest concerns for couples planning an outdoor wedding or photo shoot is the weather. While we all hope for a sunny and dry day, the reality is that rain can happen at any time, even on the most carefully planned days. However, as a photographer, I believe that rain can actually add a special touch of beauty and drama to your photos.

If it does start to rain during our shoot, we will not let it dampen our spirits. Instead, we will grab umbrellas and embrace the natural setting. Rain can make everything look more epic and romantic, with the droplets glistening in the light. I love to capture these candid moments of couples enjoying the rain, walking hand-in-hand under the umbrellas, or even sharing a kiss under the raindrops.

However, in the case of heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will prioritize your safety and comfort. We will seek out options for covered areas, such as a gazebo, awning, or covered porch, to avoid getting drenched and to protect your hair and makeup. I understand the importance of keeping your appearance looking perfect on your wedding day, and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure you look your best in every shot.

In conclusion, while rain may not be ideal, it can add a unique and beautiful element to your wedding photos. I am fully prepared to handle any weather conditions, and I will work with you to ensure that your photos turn out stunning, no matter what the weather brings.
